Scott wasn’t born in a barn, but he lives in one.

Colorado native, Scott Bright, has been putting his best boot forward in the Motorcycle Racing community for over 20 years. Even his wife and two kids take their places at the starting line. When he’s not working at C.E.E.N. (Colorado Early Education Network) or rough-housing with his five dogs, Scott takes his family on adventures aboard their dirt bikes. But it’s not all fun and games. Considered a “grassroots” racer, he and his team, Rally Pan Am are taking on the worldwide challenges of Enduro and Rally Raid racing.

You can still go fast with a grey beard…

At the blossoming era of his (mid) life, he doesn’t feel the anxiety or jitters that a less experienced rider could. This isn’t his professional career. He already has one which he’s built up over the last few decades. Riding is his passion. Extremes are his conquest. Leisure is a luxury. And composed is his motto. The only man he’s really trying to defeat out on the course is himself. Though he doesn’t oppose a place on the podium either. A message spoken loud and clear as he collected a first-place finish at 2014’s Baja Rally – the first official Rally he had ever raced. Years of Enduro racing prepped him for that moment, and helps him prepare today for the upcoming, most infamous, Dakar Rally in January of 2016.

Scott has done some good stuff.

1996 – Achieved AA/Pro Class Status, Regionally
1997 – 9th Overall AMA National Enduro Series (National AA/Pro)
1998-’03 – Multi-time TSCEC/RMEC Second Overall
2005 – ISDE (International Six-Days Enduro), Slovakia, Bronze Medalist
2007 – ISDE, Chile, Silver Medalist
2012 – ISDE, Germany
2013 – ISDE, Sardegna, Silver Medalist
2014 – RMEC Second Overall
2014 – Baja Rally 2.0 Overall Champion
2015 – Cortez Rally Second Overall
2015 – Sardegna FIM Rally 22nd Overall

His greatest ambition is to be fulfilled by helping others.

Scott had been working in early childhood education for 25 years. Currently, he is the Executive Director of Colorado Early Education Network (C.E.E.N.) which is a Head Start grantee serving over 600 ‘at risk’ families with much needed education and other resources to give them a “head start” on life. Head Start is a Federally funded national-level early childhood education program. C.E.E.N. has over 100 employees and ten centers. Scott is very proud of the fact that this company was created from scratch four years ago, and now provides the highest level of early childhood education to the most ‘in-need’ population in Weld County.
“There is no greater fulfillment in life than to faithfully help others who can’t always help themselves.”
